David J. Callahan, III has been dedicated to the practice of probate, conservatorships and estate planning since early in his education.

In law school, Mr. Callahan was very fortunate to be able to not only obtain an excellent education within the classroom but he was also able to expand upon that education as a law clerk for Davidson County Probate Judge Randy Kennedy. This concentration both inside and outside of the classroom allowed Mr. Callahan to develop an extensive base of knowledge and experience in these areas of law.

Mr. Callahan graduated from the University of Alabama with degrees in political science and economics. From Alabama he then moved on to Nashville School of Law where he obtained his law degree and was admitted to the Harry Phillips Inn of Court. He has also completed a Masters in Taxation in August of 2010 from the University of Alabama School of Law.

Following law school, he began his career as a Tax Attorney for a large regional law firm, where he assisted clients exclusively in the areas of probate, conservatorships and estate planning.

The combination of his tax-related degrees and his experience working as a Tax Attorney have given Mr. Callahan a strong background in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate, and he has focused his attention and expertise in these areas ever since.
